THE PROBLEM OF HAVING NO PROBLEM!

Many of us grumble in times of difficulty. But do we realize that having no problem at all is all a problem? Weird?

In the past 18 years of my life, I had encountered a lot of trials and all of them are the common problems we human beings normally come across. Family, friends, education, money. Those are just examples of these problems. How I wish I will never have a problem anymore, but this time it is different because my problem is that I don’t have a problem at all. Well, I am pertaining to our 197 subject. We are about to formulate thesis problems to which we would like to look into. It is but normal for us students to have a thesis because without it we will not graduate.

I am on the stage of thinking on what I would research but I am really having a hard time formulating a question. I have not decided yet what will be my topic or what are the things I should do for me to generate a topic.

With this instance that is happening to me, there are things that again popped on my mind. I cannot remove whenever I am encountering decision makings and other more, there are things that I always realized. It all boils down to VALUES. Maybe I am looking creepy when talking about values like perseverance, obedience or whatever but everything goes with these things.

Back to my problem on having no problem, well this is a great challenge on my part and I believe on the part of my classmates as well especially that we are to think of a topic that is gearing towards development. I can say “this is it! This is really is it!” I am not that pressured right now but as time passes by, I can feel the tense because this is a serious matter that I should focus on. There is no room for responsibilities or carelessness! It is truly a challenge!

I am praying and hoping that I could come up with a good decision as to what I want to research on.

And at least I proved something. There is no harm when we have problem because it is better to have one.

I FIND ANOTHER MEANING OF LOVE

Researches…projects…assignments…intramurals!!!!

Learning the values of patience, perseverance, dedication and understanding is what our parents and other people are trying to inculcate to us. I guess this is not a hard teaching but it is hard to act upon.

Last week (November 17-21), we attended the WIWAG business weeks training. Before finally deciding if I will pursue that training or not, I had to think first my priorities in school. I know that I had to meet the deadlines of our researches but then I chose to attend the training because that is once in a lifetime opportunity given to me and I don’t want to miss that.

My last blog was about the WIWAG Training. I had learned a lot from that exposure of mine. Every after the training, I go straight to our school to have our practice in aerobics. The officers of the College of Agriculture are obliged to be part of the aerobics as a support for the college during the Intramurals.

It was really difficult for me because I did really sacrifice my time in practicing instead of doing my projects.

The training gives us a lot of stress so I did endure the pain of practicing because I don’t want our college to lose or even got no representative at all.

Maybe, this is just a small thing but it gives a big impact on my part. I became physically and mentally stressed and even forgot my responsibilities in our church especially that our concert is fast approaching.

Becoming punctual, compassionate, dedicated and patient are just examples of those I had strengthened as I undergone the business training and the practice of aerobics.

Even sacrificing my commitment to the pep squad is a bit hard for me. I had to choose if I would the squad or not because my time is limited only for one practice. I cannot practice two events at the same time.

Now that the aerobic fusion competition is over, I am fulfilled with what we did there. Though there are misunderstandings during the practices at least we did really stand for our college.

Once you put your heart into what you are doing and you really are enjoying it, no doubt! You will find success. Success that is not measured in the trophies or money they are giving you but with the price that worth keeping forever. All you have to do is to do your best and have Faith because surely, God will do the rest!

All of these are just measured in one aspect of our life. No matter what we are going through, just persevere! No one loses in this world because life is beautiful. Now I could say I find another meaning of love!

music

November 25, 2008

As I start to activate this blog, I would like to share a simple fact about the thing that inspires me most-MUSIC!

LET THE MUSIC HEAL YOUR SOUL

A song one said:

“Oh if someone writes a song with a simple rhyme
Just a song where is feeling show
And if someone feels the same about the simple song
Oh sometimes you can hear them sing
Music gives you happiness or sadness
But it also, it also heals your soul.”

Sometimes in our life, we tend to look into the dark side of ours not knowing that in simple things we find true happiness. We like to be happy and to have the best life could give without realizing our purpose in this life. As they say “big things come in small packages” like in music.

It is very true that music could give us happiness and darkness but the most beautiful thing music can give us is that…Music heals our souls. I for one admit that music really helps, not just to give a sound that is pleasing to the ear but as you internalize with the message of a song, it suddenly gives us a feeling of healing. Indeed, music plays mysteriously as it gives a warm feeling and peaceful mind.

Music inspires me in such a way that it turned my sadness into joy, it could bring me to the place where my imagination could ever reach and the love that I could ever felt from anybody else in this world.

Music heals! Listen to the melody and you will find the perfect tune for you to sail as you go on with your life so that we do not need to have all the treasures in life just to be happy.

Just let the Music heal your soul. Let the music take control and let the music give you the power to move any mountain.

WIWAG Business Weeks

Do it right. Make a mark!

“Lead but obey. Vision without action is merely dreaming and action without vision is meaningless. According to Saint Therese, have FAITH! Be Faithful but ask questions.”

This line is delivered by one of our instructors during the WIWAG training that gives an impact on our lives. As he was telling theses words to us, it gives us the realization that we are so blessed for being chosen as one of the participants of the training. Deep inside me, I wanted to cry because that was our last day together and I will really miss the moments we’ve shared. While he was speaking, I had this out of the ordinary feeling. Thinking that we will be parting ways, I can’t explain what I feel and until now that I am making my blog I wanted to follow them or just see them.

WIWAG training is 5 day training on Business. We’ve experience how to run a company as we pretend to be the executives of our own company. It is a once in a lifetime experience and with that I could say that I am really blessed and at the same time thankful that I was given the chance to be part of the training.

Meeting big time business men and business women who are giving us lectures and talking to us is already a great opportunity. Being with other students with different personalities and also with the instructors belonging to different cultures is a privilege for me. This training is one of a kind! So far, it is the greatest experience I’ve ever had. The things that happened are more than what I had expected.

Actually it is not merely business per se but the fact that as we manage our companies, caring for the environment, developing self-esteem and good values are also infuse with it. We develop our skills, talents at the same time we also develop our personal traits because in business it is not about money but it is about the people.

Now that I am a WIWAG Graduate, I am very proud that I had developed my personality and acquired knowledge from our instructors. We had learned a lot and with that we are confident that having this training gives us the edge to be globally competitive in our own fields of specialization not only in business.
